BOOK PUBLICATION
Upcoming (ETA fall)
The photographic series and forthcoming book, Edge of the Village, document a vanishing generation and their lived experience during one of the 20th century's most significant geopolitical divisions. The monograph consists of images taken of a German village where the forest was part of the no-mans-land along the former border between East and West Germany. The narratives emerging from my family’s personal archives reflect on the generational experiences living and working in the German Democratic Republic until the fall of the Berlin Wall. My contemporary photographs – of family members, locals and particularly the landscape where the former border once stood – meditate on the realities and sentiments of post-unification, where the GDR’s complex past continues to echo.

LIVE + SILENT AUCTION 2026
Lot 150
I am happy to participate in this year's silent auction at my alma mater. 50% of the sale of Untitled #53 will go towards providing education to the next generation of artists, designers and educators. Every winning bid directly supports student scholarships and academic programs.
50% will go to support the production of my upcoming publication Edge of the Village, to be published in the fall. I am currently fundraising to cover the production costs and every support is deeply appreciated.
The Silent Auction is now open until Sunday, April 12 at 11am CDT.
All art works are on view in the galleries of the Design and Media Center at 621 Huntington Ave, Boston. I will be at the reception this Saturday. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Together with Hope Bindery and Box Co. (Pawtucket, RI), the team at Singer Editions (Boston, MA) and designer SYB (Den Haag, Netherlands), we will publish a limited edition portfolio containing twelve 16x20 inches archival pigment prints from Edge of the Village. Each print is signed, numbered and assembled in a handmade clamshell box.
